Refund Policy

When you can get your money back, and how.

Last updated 23 August 2026 · MediPaid Technologies Inc.

1. The three-day free trial

Every new account gets 3 days of full access at no cost, and we do not ask for a payment method to start it. The trial exists so you can decide whether DishCal works for you before paying anything. If it does not, simply do not subscribe — there is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund.

2. What you are charged

  • US$20 per month, billed in US dollars through PayPal.
  • The subscription renews monthly on the same date until you cancel.
  • Your PayPal plan includes a 3-day trial period at no charge before the first payment is taken.
  • If you are outside the United States, your bank or card issuer may add a currency-conversion fee. That fee is charged by them, not by us, and we cannot refund it.

3. Refunds

3.1 Within 14 days of your first payment

If you are unhappy with DishCal, contact us within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund it in full, without asking you to justify the request.

3.2 Accidental or duplicate charges

Charged twice, charged after cancelling, or charged on an account you did not authorise? Tell us and we will refund it in full, whenever it happened.

3.3 Service failure

If DishCal is substantially unavailable or a core feature is broken for a significant part of a billing period, contact us and we will refund that period pro rata or extend your subscription, whichever you prefer.

3.4 Ongoing months

For renewal payments beyond the first, we do not automatically refund a month already used. Cancel before the next renewal date to avoid the following charge. That said — if something has genuinely gone wrong, write to us. We would rather resolve it than keep money from someone who feels cheated.

4. Statutory rights

This policy sits on top of your legal rights, it does not replace them. If the law where you live grants a stronger right — such as a statutory cooling-off or withdrawal period for distance contracts in the EU or UK, or a consumer guarantee elsewhere — that right applies and this policy does not limit it.

5. How to cancel

  • Through PayPal: log in, open Settings → Payments → Manage automatic payments, select DishCal, and cancel. This stops all future charges immediately.
  • Through us: email support@medipaid.tech from your account address and we will cancel it for you.

Cancelling stops future billing. It does not delete your account or your data — to delete those, see below.

6. What happens to your data

When a subscription ends, AI meal analysis pauses but your data stays and stays usable. Manual meal entry, your full history, your targets and medication reminders keep working for free. We do not hold your health records hostage to a payment.

If you want your data deleted as well, email dpo@medipaid.tech and we will remove it. See our Privacy Policy for detail.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@medipaid.tech from the address on your account with the date and amount of the charge. We aim to reply within 2 business days and to issue approved refunds within 10 business days. Refunds are returned by PayPal to the payment method originally used; how quickly it appears depends on your bank.

If you are unhappy with our decision you may also raise a dispute directly with PayPal under their Purchase Protection process.
